(Memory's a little weak here)<BR/><BR/>My primary opposition to it is that it will not serve the population of the county. <BR/><BR/>Commuters, although they would like an alternative form of transportation, will not use one even if it is available. Look at light rail as an example. Look at busses as an example.<BR/><BR/>I live in Willow Glen and would love to be able to take light rail to the airport from my home rather than depend upon relatives and friends to get me there. Worse yet, find the need to hire a limo service because my elected officials were to dumb to realize that some people might want to go to an airport via tax-payer supported transit.<BR/><BR/>I oppose BART to San Jose and will continue to oppose it until I can take that light rail trip to MY airport. <BR/><BR/>Then I will oppose BART because of the tremendous amount of money it wastes on salaries and bounuses for its board members, sort of like VTA huh?gelveyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14532922296133045754noreply@blogger.com
